Exhibition of Jeanne Dekkers in HEC

Friday the 28th of October the exhibition "African Impressions," will be opened. Jeanne Dekkers will exhibit her impressions of her travels through Mali by various paintings and sketches.

"Making travel sketches is noting the space around me. Because of sketching I have more contact with the environment. I sit, watch and sketch. By making sketches I watch better, I see more and I feel more connected with the place. Usually I'm literally on the ground and feel the earth. The sketches are my quick notes that I garnered in my memory and I use both consciously and unconsciously during the design as an architect."

The exhibition can be visited by appointment until the 1st of December in Villa Paulowna in The Hague, Van der Spiegel Straat 12. For an appointment, please contact the secretary of HEC (070 3514997).
