Helga Snel (architect - director)
Helga graduated from Delft University of Technology, Faculty of Architecture in 1992, specialising in interior architecture. While studying she gained wide experience during her work at M. Paul Friedberg & Partners and John Ciardullo in New York. In 1994 Helga joined EGM Architecten as a designer. Here she worked with Jeanne Dekkers in Jeanne's architecture team. This association was so successful that when Jeanne left to open her own practice in 1998 Helga joined her as a project architect, a post she has held ever since. In 2007 this long and happy association was formalized when Helga joined the board of Jeanne Dekkers Architectuur. Helga is also involved in the wider pursuits of architecture. She regularly conducts lectures on a variety of related subjects and is often invited to conduct coaching sessions for the graduates of various Dutch architecture institutes.
