The interior of the publishing company matches that corporate style: fresh, colourful, open, communicative and based on a flexible office concept. Zwijsen is located on the four top floors of an office building near Tilburg Central Station. Here, creative people and business people work side by side and both need a suitable working environment. This resulted in an open office landscape of flexible work stations around a central zone with a number of spaces that can be closed off. Using glass walls to separate the free and organically shaped pantries and meeting rooms from their surroundings results in transparent levels with unexpected sight lines. The two colours painted on the volume's floors and ceilings are identical to those used on the inside of the exterior walls: two colours for each floor, with the lower colour dripping, so to speak, through the floor to paint the upper halve of the inside of the exterior wall of the level underneath.
