On a hidden, anonymous spot in the historic old town of Delft an old printing warehouse has been transformed into the working environment of our office, an inspiring work environment in which the atmosphere and character challenges us to make beautiful buildings. Keywords are: light, colour and a variety of natural materials. It's become an optimal place for meeting, collaboration and inspiration. The place exudes dynamism, innovation and attention to art and aesthetics, above all the human dimension is prevalent.
In phase two, the winter garden was realized; the transformation of an old storage space into an open work place. A space that, through the extra daylight, adds a special quality to the central hall and is suitable for exhibitions, lunches, and informal get-togethers. The transition from indoor to outdoor environment is dynamically controlled by the placement of a movable, ventilating glass roof like those in the greenhouses in the Delft area. The old beams of the roof have been given a new life as conservatory furniture.
